Keyfob doesn't open/close car but comfort access works

Anyone ever experience this issue ? 18 bmw M3. Also mirrors don't fold anymore while locking and also driver side master switch doesn't work at all. Changed a new switch still not working. This all happened after having my battery disconnected for 3 months while getting my steering wheel customized. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Also I checked every fuse and they are all good

If warranty still intact 4 years, bring it to the dealer and get it fixed asap.

You can get it recoded for the mirrors as I did for my F83. BimmerCode you can use or contact Kubax for any cording needs on the forums here.

Why no warranty? The original warranty is 4 years/50,000 miles bumper-to-bumper and is transferrable to any subsequent owners for that period. Or are you thinking of the 3 year/36,000 free maintenance? That's not transferable to a subsequent owner, but that only covers free oil changes and such, not mechanical/electrical problems that occur during the warranty period.

Unless the car was a salvage title, the original warranty should still be in effect. The other exception is that someone went in and modified something that would cause things to not work correctly, but it has to be related directly to the problem in question.

My wife's 2018 M3 is under warranty until July 2022, but her free maintenance expires in July.

Have you tried reprogramming the keyfob to the car?
