2015 BMW M4 CV boot
Please help. I recently discovered that both inner CV boots on the left and right side were leaking out at the clamp. Both boots appear to be ok but the grease has made it's way past the clamp. I will upload pictures in a bit. The right differential seal also appears to be leaking.
I took it to the dealership and they don't do boot replacements and the quote he gave was to replace both axles for $3,100 in parts and $1,280 labor. This seems quite high when all you need to replace is the boots. The car is on BC racing coilovers. So it sits low. But those have been on the car for a while with no issue's. I recently raised the car back up to about 1 inch below stock. The tech at the dealership suggested that moving the height could cause the boot to fail prematurely. The car only has 60,000 miles, Unfortunately it is out of warranty. Last edited by khall7966@gmail.com; 03-23-2021 at 12:31 PM.. |

Take it to Indy shop perhaps they are much lower than dealer.

According to Realoem there is no CV boot repair kit and is part of the axle, sucks.
I also checked FCP but maybe there is a clamp on Amazon or eBay if you can locate the make/pn on the existing clamp. Agree with Zambobi. Ask your BMW Indy |
