Strange idle while in traffic

After about an hour drive I got stuck in traffic at the holland tunnel yesterday. For about ten minutes, traffic didn't really move. My car was in drive and i started feeling a little rumble from the engine/chasis. The rumble kind of felt like how it feels when the engine engages into first when crawling (DCT). The RPM needle didn't move though. I put it in neutral and it still did it a few more times. Once traffic got moving again it drove fine.

Should I be worried? The only thing I did differently is fill up using Mobil 93 for gas about 50 miles before this happened a few days ago. Normally I use BP gas.

Thanks for reading

If the engine/car is rumbling and the rpm isn't budging that's weird af, probably not gas related

This happened to me after I got the spark plugs replaced. Now my car bogs in third gear under partial throttle. Seems to be getting worse but my lease is up in a month so not my problem anymore.

Was the AC on? I think the AC has a clutch and will make more noise when it kicks in.

I feel like my car idles smoother with the AC on.

Ac was off. I was idling fine for a few minutes then felt like it was skipping/stalling but rpms didn't budge at all. I haven't been able to replicate it since. And no CEL was thrown. You think something could be stored? I have BimmerLink.
