primarily RMM near calgary. Hoping to get 20-30 days in this year so all of a sudden tire wear is really starting to matter. Tried r888r (not a fan of the grip drop off) and AR1's which i love just trying to find something longer lasting. Have rt660 waiting in the garage for when the ar1's go. On 19's now and hoping to switch to a square 18 set up at some point.

Have you looked at extreme contact forces? Save a lot of weight compared to the 660.
Currently nto1s but will get another set of ecf's for street and rain at the track. Last edited by b_w.; 02-07-2024 at 07:38 PM.. |

depending on your tire preference...
Hankook RS4 is a great 'everyday' endurance 200tw tire and you get them cheaper than anywhere else here (also other Hankook options if you want more aggressive): https://hankookmotorsports.com/produ...37890594832551 Also Phil's Tires is a good place for Nankang and others: https://philstireservice.com/

Go see Kyle a SPEC R tires.
Just about everyone that goes to RMM and Castrol, from Calgary goes to see him. I'm running NT01's. They are the best R rate compound for the price... Nankang CR-S are supposed to be great as well. Have a friend trying them out this season. 20-30 days at RMM. Are you running upgraded brakes!??? |
