Apex Wheels | F82 M4 on Silver & Gold ML-10RT

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com

F82 M4 Photoshoot: ML-10RT wheels in 2 finishes

Apex become a popular option on the F8X M3 and M4 for good reason. While our wide range of fitments and designs helps provide variety to our lineup, the chassis specific fitments provide tailored wheels for your F8X M car. Both these sets of wheels feature our 11 ET44 wheel in 18” and 19” diameters which was designed for the rear of these cars. While maximizing tire width helps increase performance on track, it doesn’t always need to come with significant modifications. The 11” wide rear wheel allows you to run 305 section tires with no changes to alignment or rear suspension. Up front a variety of wheels can work. These fitments showcase our 9.5 ET22 wheels which are a great fitment for drivers looking to clear coilovers up front that limit inner clearance without front spacers.

18” Staggered:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Gloss Motorsport Gold
Front: 18x9.5 ET22
Rear: 18x11 ET44

Tires:
Continental ExtremeContact Sport02
Front: 265/35-18
Rear: 295/35-18

This 18” fitment in our striking machined Lip Gloss Motorsport Gold finish is perfect for cars without CCBs that favor the lighter weight of an 18” setup. While 305/35-18 tires aren’t as common, this fitment can still work great with 295/35-18 tires as shown here.

19” Staggered:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Race Silver
Front: 19x9.5 ET22
Rear: 19x11 ET44

Tires:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Front: 275/30-19
Rear: 305/30-19

19” wheels are often a more popular fitment for street driving with the F8X platform. As cars get larger and run larger wheels, tire availability in wider widths has also improved. This set features the ever popular Michelin 4S tires in a common staggered fitment.

Best new wheel design for ages. Looking forward to a set of these in gold when the 20” version is released.

Yes! We have 19" G80 wheels coming in the initial round of production which can be pre-ordered now, but we're looking at including 20" G8X fitments in the future as well.

A bright wheel like this always needs a bit of attention, but one of the benefits of this design is that the lip is clear coated like the rest of the wheel. They won't require constant polishing like classic lipped wheels.

We had to limit the initial finish order to a few finishes, but if you haven't already, I'd recommend leaving some feedback for us on this form. We're using the output from that form to drive future offers both in terms of fitments and finishes.

Expert@ApexWheels Look great! Do you have a 18" or 19" squared G87 M2 setup for performance street and track to run 200TW tires at 290-300 width? Would love to run these with a set of RE-71RS tires. If so, you'll have to add it to your wheel/tire guide!

We have a few options, but if you were looking to run ML-10RT on a G87, you'd be limited to either 19x10 ET12 square or 19x11 ET22 square. The 10 square fitment is an easy setup to run but maxes out in recommended tire width around 285/35-19 in terms of providing sidewall support. 19x11 ET22 is a much more aggressive fitment that needs supporting mods like adjustable camber plates, liner trimming, and front spacers.

Our VS-5RS wheel has a fitment that sits in between these 2 options both in terms of width and modifications required (19x10.5 ET18) This is a track oriented fitment that is easier to run square and better suits the lighter VS-5RS with the knurled beads.
