Haters gonna hate. As usual it will look 100x better in person, nonetheless, this car...

Looks good but not too impressed. Still don't like the side vent I wish they would of copied an early render where it went down the depth of the door ala Gtr. Rear is very aggressive and my favorite part of the car. The front end is just way too similar to the m sport 435i. I have these complaints now but I am sure I will be blown away when I see it in person.

the only thing i'm not 100% in love with are the 'fins' above the side vents. i'd rather have the vents open.

and i've read that the "1M" bumper style is an aero advantage by splitting the air going around the wheels... so there is likely more to it than appearance as to why they are using this design.

Can't wait to hear of impressions in the flesh and, more importantly, engine details!
That's how these cars should come from the factory. ZCP on the E92 should have included ALL of the CF trim pieces, inside and out. I applaud BMW for going this route on the M4

The reports of BMW M's death seem to have been greatly exaggerated indeed.

If the engine and the EPS live up to what else we've heard and seen about this car, there is still good in Munich and Regensburg.

I think it looks pretty good. The in-person impression will really tell the tale.

The reports of ///M brand being diluted by msport were also overly done. There is enough room for msport and ///M.

I love everything I see, but after everyone was complaining about the visible E92-style muffler on the test mules I'm surprised that no on mentioned that this M4 concept's muffler is not visible at all! The tips are tucked up into the bumper which looks amazing, I hope the production rear end looks exactly like this.

I think you misunderstood what some were saying. It is just a death to an high revving normally aspirated era. M will go on for decades, but in a different form. Some will welcome it, some won't, some will take some convincing.

Like the end of the muscle car era in the 70's. It is basically the end to another era. The outgoing crop of high hp NA German cars will be collectors car in the future. Government regulations will simply make them very rare indeed.

We have to remember that BMW now has accesses to relatively cheap Carbon Fiber. I believe Scott even said they delayed the M3/4 a little but so they could take advantage of that. So it isn't unbelievable that some of the carbon fiber details may make it to production.

The muffler IS visible, but coloured in a dark hue so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb

My remaining requests are to have an awesome EPS rack, really low seating position, and some jack points that aren't fucking hollow so you need to replace them all the gosh damn time. Oh and a rear jacking point would be nice.
