Any future M3/M4 CSL model ?! A track monster to give porsche, mercedes and jaguar a run for their money...
I was a bit disappointed with the E92 M3 CSL model when it was put against porsche gt3 and the Merc Black Series...sure, the M3 was a precise tool when going trough corners but it obviously lacked power.

Seeing the specs on the future M3/M4 i have to say if BMW can take them somewhere around 500-530hp with some weight shaved, rollcage and track oriented suspension...heads will roll...

There was an E92 M3 CSL?? Or are you talking about the GTS?

Any updates or changes in plans for other body styles such an M3 Touring, M4 GC, M3 GT? Are there other plans for the S55 such as an X4 M, or even better, a new Z4 M?

with sport plus turned on, can the 6mt rev matching feature also be on?
or
In general, what specifically do the different driving modes do, what do they control, dictate?

- For USD 70K plus, why the non-LED lights?
- Why not more/better color options?
- Will seats be heated and cooled front and back?
- Does it come with more M badges than M Sport?
- Any chance of an M3 GT?
- Any chance of an M2 AT?
- Any chance of an Mi3 or i3 M Sport?

Please redesign the bumpers in the LCI.

Lease residual? Can't believe I'm asking that, but I travel a lot now (and will for the foreseeable future), and only put 7K miles on my 2 year old car.

Any other colors available besides the ones announced? It's a rather bland color palette...
We can already answer the "additional stopping power" question for you.

The answer is no. Think about it this way: A car's stopping power is--on virtually all modern cars with disc brakes, and certainly on all high performance vehicles--limited by tires. If the standard M3 brakes are capable of locking up the tires (which they will be), any additional stopping force will only serve to keep the tires locked up "harder"--which is no benefit for stopping. If you want to stop faster, you change your tires (or wheels to allow for a wider tire, followed by tires).

Capable of locking up the tires all 10 times immediately back-to-back from 100 mph?
100 times?
2 hours of race pace lapping?

Just really hoping to see some good, high quality pictures of the Yas Marina blue and the interior. I really want to order blue but I'm just not sure about this super light blue and want to see what it looks like without all the air brushing.

Will the M-DCT cars use the same transmission model and user interface selections/features as the E9X M3's?

I think the "why" questions will be answered with marketing speak and therefore are lower on my list of importance.

I'd like to ask them, in their words and in technical speak, how they would describe the differences between the n54/n55 and the s55 - what makes it an M engine.

We know it's a closed deck - what does that mean to them in technical or quantifiable terms? Is the S55 "overcooled" now in that it has lots of excess cooling capacity built into this new block? How are the pistons and valves built better than the n54/n55 to handle the increased power?

He answered it: they won't stop you any shorter in terms of distance, but they will maintain their performance over a much hotter-braking environment for a much longer period of time and they weigh less doing it.
