Code after mp had install.

I have a code after MP HAS instal. The front left edc is the issue. Perhaps I hit the sensor. But I really don’t think so. I think this is fairly common problem. Can someone please chime in. Is it as simple as replacing the white sensor ? Do I need to do a reset of the edc after? Here are some pics of what the code is and the sensor I think is the issue. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Btw. If the plug wasn’t fully connected would this be the code? Or be different for no reading?

This code comes and goes. When I cycle on off it goes away. If it was disconnected would it simply not go away when I cycle it.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly (ie all the way). I remember on mine I had a hard time getting them to seat all the way and for the connector to latch properly. I had no codes after install. Also make sure the connector at the top of the strut is properly plugged in and for all connectors make sure you did not bend any pins in the connector.

I'm pretty sure I banged a vertical acceleration sensor (what you circled) during my HAS install and now I have a chassis error and no damper selections. Dealer visit tomorrow...

My "chassis error" after MP-HAS install turned out to be a pinched EDC wire (my fault, DUH) at the top of the passenger rear shock. My vertical accel sensor was okay. Cost me about $200 at the dealer for the part and labor. It sure feels nice to get back in Comfort mode.

Can you be more specific what does pinched wire mean? Was it intermittent? Were u able to cycle on off to remove the code ? Were u able to get comfort sport sport plus etx.

My dealership wants 180 Just to diagnose. Meaning just to read the codes b

At the top of the shock is the EDC connector. Dummy me got it squished when I put things back together. The wire got cut and I needed a new one. The damper settings disappeared from the dashboard and the M1/2 buttons stopped working. There were no codes in BM3 but the dealer found a shorted wire with their proprietary scan tool. As soon as they fixed it my damper settings became available again.
