Key, app and remote access login showing 0miles

Hi, has anyone had this problem? I first noticed that the app was showing 0miles but the rest of the details in app are ok. I tried resetting app as advised by bmw but no change. I then noticed that the service counters are not changing, been at 11000 miles until next oil change. I have had them key read at bmw and they showed me that the key also shows 0 miles. I have had the car 3 months and drove 3000miles one trip 1000miles in a weekend. Car drives and performs as I would expect and no warning lights. Anyone had similar? The car is booked in at the bmw dealer I purchased it from but they said they had not seen this before.
