E85 Safe To Use Continuously
I'm addicted to e30 mix on map 2 after trying it lol. I already did two tanks in a row so should I fill up just 93 now or continue e30 mix? Just wondering if I should do e30 every time.

Usually around 3.6-3.8 e85 and the rest 93 runs well on map 7

Watch ur trims maxing out. But ur car will let u know when something's wrong(drivetrain malfunction will appear) Misfiring isn't the end of the world. Just pull over turn off/on car and everything's back to normal. Usually after I misfire I run the car back on map2 being that map7 was too aggressive and car runs fine again. It's a hit or miss with map 7 and e85. Running 100 octane fuel or higher on map7 works flawlessly

We can us map 7? I just added 4.5 gallons e85 with rest 93 today. I've only run on map2 so far. I commented int that Map 5 thread as well. I liked how map 5 felt with just 93. lets you put power down good. this 'e85 was 100 octane. Can I run map 7 as well now?

In most cases running up to about an E20 blend with just a piggyback will work without setting off fuel trim codes on the car and CELs. E30 and above you'll end up with fuel trim codes even at just idle and in colder weather it'll be harder to start. This was the story back in the day on the N54s and N55s when flash tuning wasn't available to sort out fueling issues appropriately.
With an appropriate flash tune for ethanol you'll be able to run E100 (pure ethanol) if you wanted to. Usually though anything past an E50 blend won't have much performance impact at all and the highest hit will be to your fuel mileage. With E85 for instance you'll end up burning through fuel 3x faster than gasoline. We'll have the required tables available for tuning for ethanol mixtures through the bootmod3 platform when released and you'll be able to change from pump gas to E85 or race gas or meth tuning in your driveway or out at the track with a simple map switch |

As long as you are running the recommended mix of E85, you will be fine
