M4 GTS - Felix Edition - Yup. He did it again. | TAG Motorsports
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com In case you’re new to the BMW Aftermarket world and need a crash course, I suggest a quick search for “Felix BMW”. That should give a somewhat quick summary of just how absolutely stunning Felix’s cars come out. That being said, when I heard Felix was heading to TAG Motorsports with his GTS for some goodies, I knew things would not only escalate, but they’d escalate quickly and yield a car we could all take a couple of steps back from and say “Yes. That’s how it needs to be done”. I wasn’t wrong at all. The GTS already starts out as a monster. Aero, colored accents, power, sound. It’s all already there. But as enthusiasts, cars off the lot rarely meet the exact specifications we’ve dreamt up in our heads, and that leaves room for what I like to call “personality”. This GTS received just the right dosage of it. With the high-rise wing mounts and the Acid Orange diffuser by RKP from IND, the GTS theme is further emphasized, bringing the OEM + feel into play quite nicely. When combined with the OEM fire extinguisher system and OEM Euro Carbon Seats, the theme is taken to maximum levels, shooting this M4 GTS straight into the Hall of “This is How it’s Done”. Installation took place at AutoTalent, so with these items installed upon its arrival, it certainly set the tone. We could officially consider things escalated. Next portion, in my opinion, is one of (if not the main) biggest contributors for changing the look of a car: the wheels. I might say this too often but it’s a fact in my book: wheels will make or break a car. HRE Wheels are the usual suspects. With the release of the R101LW recently, we’ve seen this wheel featured on some of our favorite builds. With an incredible design that has been widely regarded as one of the best, the R101LW brings all the beauty we’ve come to expect from HRE, but is combined with incredible weight saving design strategies which brings to the client an incredibly strong and light wheel, that is still fantastic to look at. The R101 Lightweights for the M4 GTS come in at 17.0 lbs front and 18.8 lbs for the rear. The sizes are 19 x 9.5 up front and 20 x 11 at the rear. 2016 BMW M4 GTS -19" front 20" Rear HRE R101 Lightweight (R101LW) Wheels in Brushed Face with Brushed Copper Windows -265/35/19 & 295/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires -RKP Rear Diffusor -RKP Rear Spoiler Uprights -OEM Track Height Suspension Setting -OEM European Spec Carbon Bucket Seats -Complete Vehicle XPEL Clear Bra With these gorgeous new shoes mounted, the moment I had been personally waiting for arrived: shoot time! Enjoy the photos and let us know what you think! Special thanks to all parties involved! the wheels look great.. which is about the best thing I can say.. They don't look nearly as staid as the typical HRE wheel... designs I am not a big fan of.
Sure can't argue with the performance aspects...wow.. 20 x 11 at under 19 lbs is sick. |

The wheels look amazing off the car. I'm so-so on the mounted look.

Other car looks good. Which spoiler end plates are those? I don't see it mentioned in the list of alternations.

So good to see a GTS with a pretty set of wheels on it, so I can actually admire it rather than pity it with the OEM wheels. This car looks amazing!!
