Coolant error on bimmerlink

The error shown says I'm running dry but coolant looks at max.
No errors on idrive I just read the codes whilst checking battery life.

Sorry for the question that seemingly is insulting, but, are you checking the back of the charge cooler reservoir, or the radiator reservoir? There are two and if you’re getting that code, it’s likely dry. You can also remove the charge cooler and look for coolant drain. It should be milky white/beige sludge along the wall of the j pipe.
