Car looks good and all but it's definitely not worth it for my lifestyle as I cannot average more driving than I'm already driving now.

Why not buy a CTEK trickle charger for $70 to maintain the battery ?

I drive mine less than yours - I have not moved the car since August 2019. It lives on a CTEK charger and in three years of just living on a charger I've never had an issue with the battery.

You can use an app like BMW Carly to code a new battery.

What is the lifespan of these batteries now that we are about 7 years into this generation? Just want to keep this on the radar in terms of maintenance schedule.

ok, so it seems i'm about 1000 euros poorer as my battery died. There are no other batteries i could replace it with?

Shall i try this CTEK to get it up or its pointless at this stage?

My battery has been just fixed I found a guy here locally who was able to fix electronics in the battery and i'm getting it back tomorrow. Cost me 150$

PS: Talked with my mechanic and he said its possible to change the car from LI-ION to AGM batteries but i wanted to leave all stock as it is. For changing to AGM he said some coding + wiring changes are necessary. In case someone doesnt want to purchase 1000$ battery then there is an option to switch to AGM.
