interesting... I wonder why it works for some people and not for others. maybe its the type of CF. Ive read that 1x1 weave works but 2x2 doesnt however your statement makes that comment untrue so idk lol

I have made our parts both in 1x1 and 2x2 cf, and on my own car I have 4x4 its a very nice carbon, but not so many people know about it.

I really don't know why it would not work, but what ever it is, I'm sure is not the carbon fiber, more likely is the diffuser maybe covering the sensors.

It could be the design of some diffusers. Do you have a picture of the 4x4? im curious how that looks

Some close up pics of the carbon fiber, this one is 4x4 xf also for u all to see under the car, this maybe helps with sensor problem.
the 4x4 is very hard to work with cant bend it that much, so after the 1st set I give up on that idea, lol we made this one back in oct 2014.
I try also the 4x4 on a e90m3 door panels and a lamborghini Gallardo door panels it came out very nice, because they had less sharp corners, and the carbon fiber can be laydown easier.

It's because carbon fiber blocks the frequency from the kick sensor.

For someone needing the rear diffuser AND side extensions go with this.
http://m.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber-R...192?nav=SEARCH

I contacted the seller to see if they will sell the extensions seperately, hopefully they do since I already have the diffuser. Plus it should be under $300 dollars for just the carbon fiber extensions.

I swear I feel like MOST (not all) of the aftermarket products sold by vendors on here are the same stuff you can find online (Ebay, etc) but the price just marked up to make a profit on it. Got curious when I purchased a ebay carbon fiber trunk lip spoiler that fit perfect and quality was great, when my friend purchased a after spoiler for double the price from a vendor and here and was nearly 100% identical when compared.

This one is technically a 3 piece Vorsteiner and the side pieces wouldn't look right with a status gruppe or m performance style diffuser. Also if you take a look at the middle section (top of the 3 fins) is any indication of their quality I wouldn't be able to live with that.

I do with Vorsteiner would make their diffuser 3 piece like this, would make mounting it so much easier
