Road debris question
Ok so I am wondering... all the road debris that you hear the tires kick up; is that because of the insulation or is that because of the tires themselves? I'm asking because I'm wondering if different tires (winter or a/s) would prevent all the road debris from being kicked up or is that just the way it is regardless of the tire?

It's just a car. It will never be perfect so just drive it and try not to worry about debris hitting your fender wells and fender flares. Or drive yourself nuts listening to every little nick. Either way works I guess.

Turn the stereo up
I'm sure our tires kick up more debris than most. With that being said I don't think they are all that loud.

Clear bra the whole front of the car. Should give you a bit more peace of mind.

Road quality and maintenance where you drive will have a lot to do with your car kicking up debris.
If you're worried, steer clear of rubble/dirt patches, don't drive behind big trucks w/o mud flaps, don't drive next to big rigs, drive on roads that are regularly maintained, and try to avoid road construction. Like one person said before, clear bra will give you piece of mind. I understand that you want to keep your car looking great for a long time, but don't forget to enjoy driving it!

I hear you man I've never had a car that throws up more sh*t underneath - I try to avoid and drive slowly most of time but damn I hear it when I haven't even seen any gravel! - I've theorized it's the size/tread of tire (19" Michelin PSS) ? Makes me cringe ever time too
