She has a campaign going on. She is literally trying to drive me nuts but just to handle your question literally too: There will never be a time when any of my kids or I will be driven anywhere by her. Ever. Like I'll rather die in other ways than that but never.


It's safe to say this week has been abnormally insane. First my mil who apparently has been hanging out with her pissed her off. They've been traveling lately together and so on but my mil (mother-in-law) thought it would be prudent to ask my advice on a property my mom is buying as an investment.

I gave her a firm no since tampere is going through a huge transformation now thanks to an infrastructure plan. She told my mom she should run through the numbers again, and my lovely mom knew who gave the advice. Then she called...

That was my Sunday.

My Wednesday was horses and my mom telling me about them. I'm no expert in horses but I've rode those on and off since I was about 7. She couldn't tell a difference between a cow and a horse. Then she decided to spend an hour next to me tearing down my kids riding skills. With expertise on a pin fucking lesson.

Then on Thursday a very confused vet friend of mine called me. Apparently my mom's dog is her client and she asked if I could possibly help her out training the dog that's out of control. "Anna, I mean with your history, can't you teach your mom how to train a dog?"

Well, no.

And today I got yelled by her for bringing my dog out without a leash. Apparently my scary dog made hers bite mine.

Mine wasn't bitten. Hers would be dead if she had bitten mine. Kissa has a short temper and she was two meters away from me so I think her dog dragging her with her might have been the issue.

Beer. I want an other.

I saw a funny story this morning on The border collie rescue of Texas facebook page. A lady had just lost her border collie after 14 years, and was retelling her funniest stories. One was, they also had a cat, but it had gotten out and they could not get it to come back to the house or grab it. And Then thought hey tell the border collie to bring it in. The border collie had it in the house in 90 seconds.

I've reached my tipping point. I actively avoid areas she goes to. I don't walk my dogs anywhere she goes to which eliminates all woods near us just to be safe. In two years I haven't been to a school play or anything else since I know she has been informed of those. Apparently now I won't go and saddle ponies either since I'm too close to the point where I'll go insane and start screaming at her in public about how to behave in public.

That's a new low.

I found a perfect house for us and then stalled until someone else bought it since my mother-in-law had told her about it. I've completely lost my marbles.

The newest BMWs as the X3, the M5 and the 8 series prototype are getting encouraging reviews in terms of suspension tuning and overall fun to drive factor. We are planning two new cars next year and there are many new choices within BMW coming. We have the X3M, the M850i, the New X5 and the X7 on the watch list together with the M5.

I’ve realized that BMW even in the low point of the last decade provide the best mix of ergonomics, infotainment, handling and value. Porsche is as good or better on most metrics but fails on value, the cost of ownership gap is just too big unless you have very deep pockets and don’t need to bother about it.

My 2015 M3 delivered in July 2014 has been incredibly solid and I trust it 100% to always be there for me, something that is important. I’ve had some high speed compressions where I felt I needed to have the suspension and alignment checked, every time there has been zero damage and 4 wheel alignment had showed all within specs. The car always starts and runs with zero hick-ups, the HVAC is always spot-on, the engine never gets over heated, there are no brake shudder or other imbalances developing. Power feel as strong as when new. In one word I’d describe the car as stout.

This is so true with Porsche and Mercedes - I don't care how deep your pockets are, the value just isn't there for either of those to me ... and I've looked intensely at both, but I can never get over the "but that's going to cost me X-times the cost of an m4? .... no."

The truth is neither the Benz nor Porsches are X-times better than a BMW for me. MAYBE the GT ... still it would just bother me every single time I got in the car.

I was playing with a 911 4s, AMG and an RS5 and even in 'vert form doing just fine and the whole time I'm thinking, "why do those cars cost so much more?" With my interior, I think it's better than any of them expect maybe the GT, but then the GT has all kinds of other trade-offs.

so value just isn't there for me.

Blackened chicken is always a great option! Spicy, but not suicide spicy. And easy to make.
