Am I asking to much?

Hey guys,
Ive been having some thoughts on letting go of my M3, I am not fully convinced that I am ready to part with it but for the right price I think i would consider it.
This is my listing:

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...403441838.html

I have searched far and wide and in Canada theres not much ultimate packages to compare to, I have found a bunch of less optioned M3s with much more Kilometers on them for high 80s +taxes fees etc.

Please let me know what you guys think of my price am I out to lunch ?

Thanks!

Craigslist?
I usually look there for $5k-$10k cars. Demo derby stuff / kids learning to drive..

Haha fair enough, I have it on Autotrader as well. Craigslist is mainly what Vancouver/British Columbia use which is a fairly good market for an M3

Hard to put a price on the car but like was noted - this is a very particular vehicle suited for a particular owner. If you're ready to part with it you'd probably have a better time trying to sell it on Bringatrailer auctions or places that draw collectors/enthusiasts.

Pretty simple, if you get no action on the listings than it is priced to high. Be prepared for a ton of low ball tire kickers etc.

Edit: Beautiful car by the way, GLWS.

Seems fair for the color 71k USD

Might be a little high given the time of year and the winter sports car market. If the market stays lofty it should sell quickly come spring

I actually bought my CS recently from Craigslist, that someone listed in the CS price chat, so it does work

When I wanted to price a car I was married to and loved, but was required to post for sale I priced it so high that it would get little to no traction. It depends if you want to sell it for a reasonable price or hold on to it! It is a beautiful car!

When I finally realized my car would not sell after 18 months of posting I reduced it to a reasonable price and it sold in 45 days!

The market will tell you over time if your car is overpriced or not. Just be patient. You can always lower the price if and when you want to do so.

You should add some interior photos with your AutoTrader ad. I get that it’s probably mint but interested buyers still want to see as much photos as possible as three photos isn’t probably doing your car justice.

Beautiful car.

You are looking for the person who wants exactly what you have for sale, and values it as you have it posted. For the right person, it's a good deal. If that person doesn't find your car, you'll likely need to lower the price to expand the pool of people who believe that it's worth the price.

That said, your car is unique. It's priced at a significant premium as well.

Best of luck with your sale!

No trying to troll, IMHO advert is too boastful. Keep saying it has every box ticked, no ceramic brakes. Bodywork is mint, there are drill holes for a front plate. Rare carbon side skirts, no such thing, they are aftermarket. Just trying to be constructive, someone who cares enough to value your car as you priced it, will care about these things in the advert, again IMHO.

There is a factory black plastic side skirt, but I don't think it is CF!

Also you bought the car for less than $85k in the summer from Kelowna so keep in mind that people that are interested in these cars keep tabs on the cars for sale and have a good grip of what these cars sell for. I don’t think you will get over $90k for it but if there’s someone that badly wants Mexico Blue you never know.
