Except for the wheels, the E92 concept was pretty much identical to the production "civic" M3.
Yea actually it was just the wheels. But point is, its possible not all of the concept will be available for the civic M3/M4 and will be reserved for ZCP. A possibility that's all, just don't know which item. Maybe the CF front spoiler will be part of a package..

I'm with you, probably some of these elements will not be part of the base M3. However my feeling is that these upgrades will be offered as optional "M-performance" options, not necessarilly part of a ZCP pack.

Yep CanAutM3, that is exactly what I am going for - can't help but notice that whenever they showcase the car in ads this area is blacked out or shot such that a shadow hides the 'raw' metal cans. Not sure if Carl L interpreted my comments to be about the diffuser - love the diffuser, essential piece of kit, but if Carl_L you were indeed referring to the sculpted ridges on the can itself in respect airflow, then I'd have to suspect that extending the diffuser in he right way would achieve a similar if not better result. Have driven race cars/bikes in my distant past but for my daily driver I'd prefer a bit more finish. I pass an 2012 M4 cabrio parked at work everyday and can't hep but focus on the off-color unfinished can hanging out the back - need to get it out of my head and move on!!

3) f82 stock (yes i understand this is a concept) looks better than practically every modded e92 i've ever seen (including my own)
4) finally bmw got their act together and included black grilles rather than the horrible chrome ones
5) someone make a lip like that for the e92 please.
6) someone please make a replacement hood/bumper for the f82 please, so we can get rid of that horrible line.
7) f82, to me, is aesthetically far ahead of the e92.

hoodline will be less noticeable if you get a dark color -- but sucks for people that like white

How do you know that?

If anything the production should be worse; the Concept should be the best BMW has to show us.

F83 Cabrio - 2015 cannot come soon enough!

Thought I'd throw a black version of the candidate M4 convertible - modified from fully referenced original authors/post's images, so hopefully not an issue!

E92 in all areas expect the rear. The new F82 rear is fantastic. Hate the hood line break and that god awful overbite profile of all BMW's and MB's these days. The front end of the E92 is beautiful and mean all at the same time. The rake from the bottom of the front bumper to the start of the hood is beautiful.

It gives BMW something extra to play with/ improve, when the facelift-version is released in a few years' time!

(Oh and btw BMW, please improve your customer service at the same time... Audi and MB are miles ahead, these days!)
