Is there any chance to weigh a '16 ZCP with similar options? The only info I was able to find was 1595 kg (3516 lbs) on a UK site for the M3.

AWE exhausts can be added to the OP:

"The non-res version weighs just a hair more than stock at 76lbs, and resonated version at 79 given the resonators, among other aspects like larger diameter/thicker tubing, muffler internals, etc."

Has anyone compared cloth and leather seats/upholstery for any weight differences?

According to ETK, the 681M weigh 20.3lbs front (19x9.5) and 24.2lbs rear (20x10.5).

BTW, the 265/35R19 PSC2 from the GTS are listed at 24lbs on the TireRack site. Further, the tire weights on TireRack are rounded to the nearest lb, maybe the fronts weigh 24.4lbs while the rears weigh 27.35lbs .

Hi all,

First of all, great thread: super useful information here, thank you everybody!

Another interesting parameter that would be great to know about the F80/F82 is the position of the center of gravity.

I was looking for this information on the internet without success, and I stumbled on this page: https://robrobinette.com/cg_height_calc.htm

It describes a method to estimate the position of the CoG using two scales and lifting two of the four wheels. The higher the wheels are lifted up, the better estimate is possible to calculate for the CoG.
Now, I would love to calculate this and contribute it to this thread myself, but I don't have the required scales to perform the measurements.

I'm wondering whether Accel Junkie would have some time to try this out!

The deleted muffler, as seen here with valves, is about 42 lbs.

Thinking of doing a swap of the rear bumper to an e60 front aluminum bumper.

M4 OEM rear bumper is about 20 lbs. (would save 5+ lbs.)

My M4 (Before Corner balance)
Carbon Roof
OEM 18s
DCT
Half Tank of gas
TC Kline DA Coilovers
RPI full Exhaust
Completely gutted trunk
Removed rear seat Lower Portion
Sparco Ergo II Seats, Driver and passenger

I wish it was lighter but its a good set up. My before weight was 3574 but i dont remember how much fuel was in the car so its not helpful.

Fall Line Rear Sway Bar End Links: 0.50kg for pair
Fall Line Rear upper control arm bearings: 1.05kg for all 4 bearings
Dinan Strut Ball Joint Kit: 1.65kg for pair of bearings
SPL Front Tie Rod ends: 1.25kg for pair
SPL front lower control arms: 2.50kg for pair
SPL rear upper control arms: 3.05kg for 4 arms (entire kit)

The bumper swap did work. e60 front Alum. bumper for M4 rear steel. There is a little bit of work involved, but at $100 for the e60 front bumper and a savings of about 7 pounds, I like it. More pics on my race build thread. You do need to get an older tow hook for the older tow hook threads, but the hole lines up perfectly.

I weighted my GTS seats. Weight is 6,5 kilos each or about 14 lbs, plus undercarriage. I will install them in a week or two hopefully.Name: IMG_1485.jpg

Has anyone stumbled across data for the weights of the doors on the F80 sedans?

Imagine the weight savings we could hit with cf doors!

Looking at e90 weights, our oem outer door panels alone would each weigh around 40-45lbs, we would get around a 30-35lb weight savings per cf door...

120-140 lbs saved!

Love it; CSL-like with the GTS and M Performance parts. Now get some lighter wheels.
