Help Troubleshoot

I had to get my towed car today. Here is the codes I saw. It is an 18 M4 comp with an MHD GTS style tune.

Anyone else run into this issue? How much to repair?

- DME active codes -
11A002 - High pressure fuel, plausibility Pressure too low.
11AA03 - High-pressure fuel system: High pressure pump, pressure too low.
11AA05 - High-pressure fuel system: High pressure pump 2, pressure too low.

- DME shadow (inactive) codes -
11A401 - Fuel high pressure during fuel injection release: Pressure too low.
11B401 - Fuel high pressure or after enabling injection (2nd ambient condition set after delay): Pressure too low.
1E5A20 - Engine torque limit: maximum target torque permanently exceeded.

Hopefully it's the fuel pressure sensor at the rear of the silver HPFP rail. If that goes bad it will think both HPFPs are pumping wrong.

Thanks. I am going to call a few local shops in the am and call a tow truck. Since it does not go into neutral (DCT) I know it will be a PITA to tow around.

If you can't switch the DCT into neutral then go under and pull the wire that connects to the lock lever. There's a post here somewhere showing how to do it before towing.

Dragging it will break things. Use 4 wheel dollies if you can't get into neutral.

Car is currently at the shop. It will need fuel pumps replaced. Shop can order the pumps for around $2100 and it will take 9-10 hours of labor for about $3700. Is that reasonable?

Should I try to order fuel pumps myself to save a little?

Yes. I always order my own parts, even if I can't do the work.

I'm sorry but $5K is expensive in my mind. I would YouTube how to remove an injector and manifold (get to rails and pumps), and how to do a pump swap (Dorch/Spool/Nostrum vids). Then I'd swap the sensor first, and try. Next would be the pumps.

Just bout a pair of BOSCH 66825. Shop didn't seem happy and said could not warranty the install but I am not paying $2K for OEM pumps if BOSCHE sells OE's for a fraction of the cost.

Not $5K. $2K for OEM, but I bought Bosche OE ones. Shop said about 9-10 hours of labor which is about $1600.
