BootMod3 - CS Transmission Flash

I have a 2020 M4 and I reflashed my transmission this evening to the CS per the recommendation in the Bootmod3 portal. After flash and pulling out of my driveway I got a drivetrain malfunction warning.

Overall the car drove fine, although I didn't want to push it - drove very casually.

Came back home, reflashed the CS again in case the first one somehow didn't take; the same thing. I reflashed to the GTS and it's fine again.

Does anyone experience the same thing?

Also, noticing slipping once in a while, but about 90%+ of the time I baby the car and drive in effect mode + the car has barely 7500 miles on it.

Any thoughts guys?

Mods, just in case they matter:

intake, charge pipes, catless DPs, stage 2 tune, oil cooler, DCT trans cooler, front heat exchanger, crank hub

I only notice the 'slippage' issue if the car downshifts from 3rd to 2nd, then I modestly accelerate (not WOT) or 4th into 3rd. This is always in efficient mode during daily driving. During hard driving I never noticed any slipping.

Maybe a bit of slipping from a dead stop to 1st gear, but i feel thats its kinda normal so you dont get the jerking feeling.

When you say slip do you mean wheelspin or do you feel slip in your diff or trans?

My '19 F82 would not take either the CS or GTS trans flash without the drivetrain error. Zanin from PTF worked on it remotely for a long time and still no luck. Even a SW update and lock/unlock didn't help. In the long run I left the BM3 Trans as stock and bought into XHP for my trans flash.

It's definitely not wheel spin. In these cases I am not accelerating hard.

I believe it's clutch slip. When it happens it almost feels like the next gear (ip or down) hasn't engaged yet but I have already applied throttle. If that makes sense.

We have a solution for 19/20 cars for CS flash
It's just has to be done properly.

Nice one Kubax. Your cost is much less than an XHP license set.

He means he's a master coder and does the job right. We've seen him fix other guys mistakes. If Kubax says he has a fix that's your first thing to try. He's a solid guy and works remotely via your laptop with an ENET cable.

Plug it back in and do the DME reset and it should fix it

Tried that but same issue; the GTS seems to running fine for now. Reached out to kubax86 to see if his tune can help. If not I will keep the GTS or put the stock tune back on.

You verified your car is in the year window for the CS flash correct? Seems simple but has been looked over. 2019+
