PSS' are on backorder and hard to get. All of the 16s that have come through my dealer in the past 2 weeks (which were 3 or 4) all had Contis. So the 16s that did get PSS were very lucky

Will do! I'm just glad that my '16 came with the PSSs, though if I had to choose between a delay for PSSs vs getting the Continentals asap, I don't think I would have waited...the car is just too good to wait for

Probably a stupid question, but how do you opt SO on the M3? Is it the regular metallic paint option or Individual? Asking because BMW's build site doesn't show it for the F80
If it's just the paint option, I'll also be getting the SO/SO!

It's a standard option for 2016 model year cars. It was previously available for the 2015's but then pulled late last year.

Its a priority one color now which essentially means you can only order it. They will only paint customer sold cars with SO so dealers can no longer order and inventory them. Good news for the SO guys as there are bound to be less of them around.

I believe that 2016 M4 coupes have SO as a priority one color, but 2016 M3's and M4 'verts have SO as a standard metallic color. So we may see more showing up on dealer lots despite not being custom ordered.

I'm just going to keep telling myself that the SO/SO combo is special
