Adaptive suspension questions

Hello All,

Deciding whether or not to do adaptive suspension.

How exactly does it work? I'm assuming it's a mechanism built in the shocks?
Does it cost a lot more if it needs to be fixed in the future after warrenty?
And can you use lowering springs with it?

Thanks in advance, ya'll!

Yes, electronically controlled shock valving via sensors in 2 of the 3 settings. 3rd setting is not adaptive but oriented for track use.

Yes, of course. More complex, but from what I know it's been very reliable on the E90.

Yes, Dinan, H&R and others do or will offer lowering springs. I had them on my E92. They will compromise ride a little.

All 3 settings are adaptive on the F8X. Get it.
