Carbon Ceramic brake issue
For anyone else who may have the CCB option. I often get small stones stuck between the disc and disc guard, usually they drop out pretty quick, but for the last three days I had a really annoying scraping. In the end had to remove the rear calliper, and disc, and inside the handbrake shoe space was a tiny hard stone causing the annoying sound. All quiet again but my worry was that it was damaging the disc. Was a 10 minute job to sort it. Oh and if you've never felt the weight of a CC disc, they seem big and heavy but you can lift it with your little finger.

Only once in 4500 miles, and I just had to lightly pull the rear guard and it dropped out.
Infact I had it much more on my previous steel braked F80. The ceramics are incredible

Yes, normally they drop out with a little flick of the guard. This little sucker had gotten inside the handbrake hub!!! And yes, I love these brakes.
