Just got the Rennline fire extinguisher mount installed. The instructions that came with it sucked, but got everything to work perfectly at the end

Did you purchase the materials for the seat and DIY, or you had a shop redo the seats?

took out the leather, and went abroad with the new materials i wanted. a professional shop stiched new leathers and alcantara the way i want. and then i rebuilt it at home. so it was easy to carry in a luggage and 1/3 price of UK

I got trim removals from YATO and today I did my first cosmetic mod. Red START button. I'm so proud of myself not scratching or braking anything

Next to come M1/M2 buttons with alcantara steering wheel

> Custom made CS style alcantara wheel with heating function preserved
> M1/M2 red buttons replacing original dark

Anyone noticed clunky pressing of M2 button after replacement? I removed it and installed again however its still clunky from time to time. Is it normal with "aftermarket" buttons or mine M2 button needs tweaking?

Never understood why BMW would do the M stitching on the steering wheel and seatbelt but then leave the boots for the e-brake and shifter alone. So I had to fix that.

LOVE the quality. Plus I think it compliments the interior better.

Do you have a short shifter in yours? Looks like it's sitting lower in your pictures.

Shouldn't happen, I'm on my second aftermarket color and never had an issue. These things are so simple, if you could see what part catches you could fix it yourself.

I'd go for one of these if they retained the heating element. I use it
I'm talking about the steering wheel trim
