Balloon finance and Alfa don’t seem like good ideas to combine, at least to me. Hard / probably impossible to top M3/M4 with a comparable car when factoring in total cover over lease term. Only real exceptions I’ve found are when a new generation M is compared to an outgoing generation of something else, or maybe when comparing older MY with heavy incentives to newer M.

Yeah that's what I'm struggling with... the balloon terms / payment are actually very attractive (roughly $850 a month), but it's the long term forecast that I'm worried about.

FWIW, their best lease offer has been $988 over 36 months / 10k miles per year with only first payment down on a 78k car. That seems to better than most are getting, but still a tough pill to swallow coming from my M.

That's I pay currently for 15k miles a year for $80k MSRP :
Yeah I'd turn that down on principle alone.

My guess is, most of that 10 seconds is tires but there have been no tests of the ZCP. I’d guess the ZCP would be very close to 7:42 on cup tires.
I'd say your probably spot on with that assumption. Tires, suspension tuning (camber), and $100 software coding for the edc, engine tune, diff and steering.

$50k for a used m3 comp vs $90k for a new CS after discounts.
You can get a CS for low 80s.

I literally went to the Alfa dealership to sign for the QV and they tried to pull a bait and switch, only offering a color / wheel combo that I had no interest in.

I turned back to the CS and was able to secure a brand new black CS with 102k sticker for 81k. The lease actually ended up being cheaper than the QV, so I'm happy. Maybe one day I'll pick up a QV though, sick car for sure.

Congrats on the new car, enjoy it!!

Is there a way to tune the ESP and ABS tuning of the m3 CS into a Non-ZCP m3?

OK, got it. I misread and thought you meant the opposite.

LOL! is there a way to tune the m3 CS's ABS and ESP into a non-zcp M3? If so, how do you do it?

I wouldn't want to put ABS and ESP tuning from the GTS onto the Non-ZCP or ZCP. Different suspension set up, different chassis etc etc

And don't forget about the tires. The GTS and CS were optimized around the PSC2. Apparently the CS ABS tuning is even better than the GTS. I agree about the GTS EPS not being suitable for other M3/4 since the GTS has a significantly different front suspension setup including front hub carriers with different offsets.
