Alloy Wheel / Tyre Insurance

Anyone purchase alloy wheel or tyre insurance for their M3/M4?

If so any recommendations?

BMW quote loads for their various add on packages.

I went through Autotrader in the end, must cheaper, better cover all round than BMW. Dealer could not match them.

Tyre insurance - Having had to replace one of my rears already due to a nail, I wish I'd opted for this.

Alloy insurance - I have the black alloy option, the spokes of which are "black chrome" - Most alloy insurance policy small print states that wheels with a chrome finish are not covered, so I didn't opt for this either.

I've never gone for these expensive options of tyre insurance, alloy insurance, and market to invoice insurance. My dealer offered them half list price to me, I refused.

I had the tyre insurance on my last M3 and for £300 for 3 years cover. Max 5 tyres in the term it's a no brainer when the tyres are so expensive.

Thanks for the info on the alloys. I will check the small print.

Was told today that the alloy wheel insurance doesn't cover the alloys on the m4

I checked the small print and the policies don't cover chrome finishes. So no good for the M3/M4.

Anyone found a policy that does cover it?

In terms of tyres I was looking at this:

https://shortfall.co.uk/tyre-insurance/50

For 19" tyres £235 for 3 years cover max 5 tyres over term. Payout max £300 per tyre with a £10 excess.
