M4 Convertible in Tanzanite Blue - She's here!!

She arrived at the dealers today so I naturally went straight round after literally being camped out there for the last 4 months.

Took a few pics. I cannot collect her until 6th September as can't be seen until official launch date (ridiculous).

I do love Tanzanite, even on a dull day and the car is not clean it still looks fantastic.

10 days and counting.

Yes mate, not going to sleep until the 6th of September. So annoying to have it sat their and not be able to have it. You must be excited too? Not long now.

Thanks for all your positive comments. I was thinking of getting a new car detail done (rather than the ridiculous paint protection offered by the dealer). Anyone ever had this done? If so, would you recommend it? Thanks

Yes have the car sealed to start with and then machine polished with very high end polishes and it will look fantastic. I will have mine done as soon as I get it.

Thanks for the advice. I have booked it in at the dealers for next week. Full detail and paint correction for circa £400, dealership offered me GardX for the knock down price of £450, what planet do they think we are on?!

I have spoken to dealers about black front grills. With the dark blue colour, having some silver at the front does provide a nice contrast. In two minds.

Saw her again today, I was having withdrawal symptoms! Managed to take a couple of pics with the roof down. Like all 'expectant fathers' say, the pics just do not do it justice!

Bradley, the detailer, has done his magic and texted me a few pics today. He has done a fantastic job & I would highly recommend him (http://www.concours-detailing.co.uk/), soooooooooo excited. Will probably drive her home at 5mph, park her in the garage and be too afraid to drive her for the next year!
