Stealth Hitch is a great option for this 6 years after the original post. Using a hitch rack myself and would even if I had mount points.

You sir, are a genius. I was originally looking for a invisible install option. There are two in the market but both are for M3s:
https://stealthhitches.com/products/...d_m3#more-info
https://www.etrailer.com/search/invi...odels/BMW/2016

Seeing that your option works although it's meant for the 3 series makes me think the invisible options also work on the M4.

Thank you for posting and please ignore the haters. Many of us cannot have a regular trailer due to zoning and many other considerations. A tire trailer is a great option. M cars are meant to be jacks of all trades, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Looks like one or both GTS' are getting hitches now!

Do you have the one or two-bike mount? I saw the Kies video and ordered the latter for my f82, but found it almost impossible to get a good seal on the front part (the piece with the mounts for the two bikes). Tried roof (back and front), windshield and rear window, no good… Perhaps I did it all wrong, but got so super frustrated and worried about the reliability that I returned it. Part of the problem I suspect are the longitudinal and latitudinal curves of the roof which make getting a seal with the mounts on that long rigid bar very difficult. perhaps the one-bike mount works better? I really do want to like this product… Apologies for going off topic.

Mine only holds 1 bike. I typically use my carbon grave bike. So it's lighter than most common bicycles
