Ok, I finally received the tips, but I haven’t put them on yet. From what I can see, the inner sleeve is angled and will likely fully cover the OEM exhaust pipe. I’ll report back when I put them on.
It looks cool and my taste/logic is same as yours, but these don't look any bigger than OEM?

Unless that's just not what you're looking for?

Can you post a pic when fully installed?

Installed them today. I’m really happy with the look. Fitment is very good.

The first photo is comparison of length showing a little over 0.5” longer than OEM. The notch for the peg on the exhaust pipe looks to be about the same amount.

Second photo is side-by-side comparison. You can see the huge difference in diameter.

Third photo is looking from top down. It sticks out about 0.5” more than OEM. I ordered the version with logo by mistake, but it’s very subtle and I’m fine with it.

Fourth photo is looking down the barrel. The inner sleeve fully covers the tip of the stock exhaust pipe. There’s no gap all around.

Unfortunately, it was already evening when I got around to install. So most of the photos were taken with a flashlight. If anyone wants to see more of how they look, I can take better photos tomorrow.

SWEEEEEET!

Yes, please take like 20 more photos in the daylight. I want to see.

I like these or the AA tips.

I HATE this style of tip (with the weird opening in between the outside and inside):

I’m loving the way they look. Similar to the OG BMS tips, these look very OEM but more aggressive.

Here are some more photos in daylight plus one at the office garage. I tried to capture from different angles.

Another positive vote for Mode Concept tips from Australia. Took 3 weeks to arrive.

No clamps to mess with or see. The tips go on like OEM tips and they are 5/8” longer than stock tips.

Do they bottom out on the pin? Hoping to get them flush like OEM.

They bottom out on the pins. What you see in MannyS’s and my photos are as far in as they go. I used a rubber mallet to bang them in as far as possible. They are not flush like OEM but still look very classy. I’m like you where I can’t stand tips that stick out too far. From my research, these stick out the least compared to any other aftermarket tips.

Hmmm...there's always the option of elongating the slot where the pins bottom out to get the tips in further...might look into that once they arrive.

Elongating the pin slot may not help. The inside section of the rolled tip hits the end of the tailpipe.

I also do not like the “long” tips, but these tips look fine. 5/8th of an inch longer than OEM is not obvious unless you have the OEM tip next to it for comparison.

Just ordered these myself. Impatiently waiting on arrival now.

Did everyone else go hammer + mallet or the Harbor Fright puller?

I sprayed WD-40 from the back of the tips and waited a bit. Then I used a small block of wood to wedge between the stock tip and the muffler, and hammered away at the wood as close as possible to the muffler. Three came off after just a couple blows. One was really tight and required more hammering. There was no damage to the stock tips when I got them off. Make sure to get underneath with a good flashlight to see what you’re hammering at.

For the new tips, I pushed them in with my hands to align with the pin, then I used a rubber mallet to tap them in place. Overall, it was very easy to remove the stock tips and install the new tips. You can also search for videos.

I'm going on 5 weeks. MODE referred me to DHL. Spoke to DHL who said "it's on its way" but the tracking info doesn't show that's it's left Sydney yet.

Anyone else placed an order recently? How long have you been waiting?

It took 4 weeks for my order (placed in Aug). On the DHL tracking page, I saw the same thing where the item seemed to be stuck in Sydney for a long time. Then I noticed there was a link to NZ Post that had more updated info. It looks like DHL uses NZ Post for the carrier from Sydney to the US.

Thanks for that. Looks like my package sat for 2 weeks in Sydney and is now "in transit" as of today coincidentally.
