Not scientific but interesting to see an overlay of a lazy E50 run for datalogging over an E30 60-130. The slope of acceleration feels pretty significantly different.

Finally got out and had a little more time on E50. Only got one in but happy to see it moving in the right direction.



I think there's a couple tenths left in the tune too, I started breaking up a little bit at the top of 4th and can see that last 10mph came slow in comparison to everything before. I figure 6.6X's aren't unreasonable here when we're done

Now that's something I hadn't even considered, but that's definitely possible.

Out of fuel all over the place in that log. This is what nightmares are made of.

Did you remember to set HPFP to Original (NOT OEM) for your F80Paul custom tune? OEM would run your pump short.

Hmm, I never changed those settings. If I never defined a value in config for the HPFP, would it take the map's settings or just use the default oem?

HPFP isn't an issue and you can see it's targetting the PJ settings just fine.

yeah I checked and i never defined anything there in config to override what's being set in the map.

I've only been logging to 6500 up to this point so that's how I missed it until now. All hell breaks loose as soon as I cross that mark in any gear across these logs. STFT spikes all over the place, lean lambda spikes, boost deviation and wild MAF settings.

At this point i'm sure i'll end up hurting the motor if I keep running it above 6500 - waiting to hear back from Paul.

Might as keep this rolling here. Got an update from Paul and yes, definitely running out of fuel.

Up til this point I hadn't logged anything past 6500, but after talking to him more he suggested that we could spin it a little more with the higher power band of the Pures - to 6850-7k range.

He made some adjustments and this log was definitely better but still running out at that 69XX range: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=619e...90c61ee7cf58bb

Tune is all wrapped, save for doing another log when the DA is a little better than it's been. We pulled back the heat a bit and dropped some boost and everything has been looking A+

We're considering anything less than 3% slope appropriate? My larger slope run is considerably faster than what i've done elsewhere but have:

6.65 at -2.15%, 6.76 at -1.43%, and a 6.82 at -.63%

It feels like cheating a bit lol but I guess let's add me to the list?

6.65 / Heitzke / 2015 M4 6spd / E50 F80Paul flex-fuel tune / Pure Stage 2+ / stock fuel system / VRSF downpipes / VRSF single mid / VRSF intakes / 295 Michelin MP4S / Dragy

I've got a real damn dragstrip and Dragy still marks me invalid sometimes. I think maybe Cecil County Dragway isn't perfectly flat.

Built motor, Kratos, 50/50 WMI, EOS intake manifold, Pi, E85

This run was on E72 full tank.

My PB is 5.03 on E83 half tank around 8K DA.
Dragy been having issues and didn't record 5.03 run 😖.

Jfc. A nearly 7,500ft DA at low elevation and cool temps? Were you driving through a hurricane vortex? Crazy fast either way!

I've broke into the 5's on stock motor, no PI, no meth, stock tires/tire size. Finally have some R888R in the rear. Just waiting for ambient temps to drop a bit before I bother with some more runs.
