How the hell do you put the power down?
In the cold it's impossible with stock tires! I don't even try. In the 75deg temp I can see my traction control light flicker just before DCT shifts in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Also a Dynojet dyno.
This torque is tempting me to just go with S2 but knowing my luck it will hurt me. I don't want to temp my luck but the other day went up against a super snake at 60 roll and he was walking me just a tad. Three ppl in mine and two in his. Still happy though. Love stalking G80's evil grin...

Should always do 4th gear pulls.....
To get true HP evaluation you want as close to a 1-1 load on the engine which is 5th in both the DCT and manual but....... you will not reach redline before the speed limiter kicks in but most pull throttle at like 6-6500 anyway. The top speed limiter is set at ~163mph if i remember right. Now if you have a BM3 tune you can switch the limiter off.

Another reason for the 1-1 pull is not only do you make the motor work hard but also it will show you how much the IAT's will rise under load cuz it is a long pull.... which is good info as long as your dyno set up as proper cooling which a lot do not.

So 4th is the best 2nd option....3 is not

Additionally something posted here is about intakes, you "do not" need intakes for stg 2. There is nothing out there that flows better than the OEM stock cold air design with a drop in filter and carbon pre-filters removed.....

Just pick something that allows you to make your own minor changes like burbles (not for me), exhaust valves, cats on /off, etc.

I like BootMod3 because you can get a used license for $350 and add the Map Pack for $100 which lets you use all the off the shelf (OTS) maps like CS+, GTS, Stage 1 and 2.

Seems like a very good option

I ran a JB4 on my N54 for a very long time and never had any issues (i guess that's my comfort zone) but I am extremely open minded , thank you for sharing !

I at the same time do NOT want to get the crank hub done

Ah FrankMstein I see you dyno'd at Matt's place....

Also as requested by Mike to run map 0. That is good but problem with this and trying to do it all on the same day is the fact that this DME is a learn/adaption DME and unless you reset adaptions and do multiple runs over some time the DME will usually adapt up in power so it is really hard to get true correct numbers. I would do my solid runs on the STG whatever that you have been running and adapting then map down to 0.....but then it still needs to learn which technically muddies the water.....

Yep, Matt's. I have run the same tune and fuel for the last 5 months. Not reset anything, just left it alone. Matt said I should get around 480-495? and everyone was shocked at 512 including me. I am reluctant to change anything, tune or hardware. I drive the car to work about once a week and one day on the w/e and that is about it. I am going to get my instructor license back again and get Friday free time for my efforts and that power is more than good for me.

I think we will go to the Orlando thing next month. You?

Not sure yet....just not in it like I used to be and been thru a few cars. Kinda burnt out. Plus have a lot of life priorities that do not include cars. 512 is good numbers....I have not tested this one but my old M4 running a JB4 on race map, 5 gal e85, MPE exhaust, drop ins did 520hp/540tq on a AWD dyno so it on a Dynojet would be stronger. These cars are super stout. I only run stg 1 on my current car since it is my daily and only car

My wife's family is in Tampa for another month and we have a time share there so she's looking at it as a mini vacation.

I'll get Matt to dyno again in 4th and than I'll flash to ots s2.
