what do I need to upgrade id4 --> id6

Here's the question, will BMW still recognize your VIN after Feb 22 for the connected services? Does no good to upgrade (if you want it for this), and they will not allow you to maintain subscription to these services (due to VIN).

I just had someone in CA upgrade my iD from iD4 --> iD6. Amazing upgrade. All he needed to do was install a new wireless module behind the dash for wireless CarPlay. System is working great so far no issues, ConnectedDrive still works and all of the mapping is perfectly fine. If anyone is in Southern CA and wants a connection let me know.

Anyone know where I can get this software I've done updates on software using e-sys so shouldn't be too different I guess.

Hey bro, I'd really appreciate a recommended shop. Got an f82 I want to do this upgrade on and am in the inland empire, short ways away from LA/SD. Thanks.
