Would I regret getting a m3 f80
I currently own a 652 hp G6E turbo and I'm wanting to go to a M3 f80 would I regret this
If I owned a m3 I'd want to make it stage 2 or 3 and then single turbo kit it |

In standard form the F80 is lighter by 223kg so gets a power to weight gain there, with a tune and some bolts on it will probably get similar HP if that is your concern? I would suggest you go to a dealer and drive one, raw HP is one thing, but putting it down and going around corners are another, it just depends on what you are looking for? 2018 F80 Competition DCT: Power 331kW @ 7000rpm Torque 550Nm @ 1850-5500rpm Tare Mass (kg) 1522 2014 Ford Falcon G6E Turbo FG Auto Power 270kW @ 5250rpm Engine Configuration In-line Torque 533Nm @ 2000-4750rpm Tare Mass (kg) 1745 |

As mentioned above, what are you looking for?
In a straight line the Falcon would be quicker probably but straight lines are not what M3's are made for.

Single turbo S55 will be a lot faster than your G6E Turbo. I have full race s55 hybrids on mine running custom e40 tune on just f10 M5 eu5 injectors for fueling. I destroyed both my mate's stock HSV walkinshaw w557 and my cousin's FBO R35 GTR on E85 on a 3rd gear roll

As the others have said it really depends what you are looking for.
I had a FBO BF Ute years ago and it was a lot of fun, but nothing compared to an F80. If you go stage 2 with E85 using the flexfuel kit, you will most likely have better power to weight in the F80 and have more change of getting the power down to use it. From my research though you want to get the crank hub replaced if you are going to go over around 500whp so plan on around $5-6k for that. |

Probably M3 is not the right car for you. M3 is so well balanced that any mod easily destroy the balance

Want to track a car? M3 is right for you. Calder Friday night drags? 2K barra for you Long story short - does not mater what you got - someone will be faster, spent more, better quarter etc. My F80 is/was slower than a mates GTR, I'm slower than other forum members on the track times thread - but am I having fun? Yeah sure am! Mod it how you want (Stg2, catless, flex fuel, brakes, tyres is good so far for me). 5 yr old, still do the look back thing when I lock it and walk away.....
