Rw carbon review

Just wanted to write a review about RW Carbon since I have heard some mixed reviews about them over the years but finally decided to give them a shot last year.

I ordered some carbon mirror caps about 10 months ago. Shipping was quick. When I received / installed them, I had noticed the passenger side wasn't perfect, ever so slightly off. It wasn't a huge deal, but I did let Matt Wright (owner) know and he ended up shipping me out another right away. The next one he shipped out was perfect fitment to match the driver side.

After driving around for a handful of months now, I have noticed my driver side mirror has started to pop up a bit. I just contacted Matt again and he will be shipping me out a brand new driver side mirror.

I don't run into it often, but I feel finding a company that 100% backs their products are few and far between. I understand, you can get the "same style" carbon parts through Ebay or other places, which I have done in the past, but none of those places back their products and you end up wasting money because their products either have fitment issues or end up falling apart (one of the ebay sellers ended up blocking me for simply asking for a replacement part or a refund). With that being said, as long as Matt keeps backing his products, I will continue to only buy my carbon products through RW Carbon. The extra money you pay is 100% worth the peace of mind.

My first piece was from RW Carbon as well. It was a front lip for my F82. The clear coat started to fade off after a couple months (completely normal) and i was not 100% satisfied with the fitment, maybe like 7.5-8/10. I have sense moved onto AA Concepts Co in Pasadena, CA. Quality seems to be better as the clear coats have lasted longer and the fitments are also a lot better. Not bashing on RW by any means. But AA has some really good prices for quality you can’t really beat. Would also recommend checking them out if your around the Pasadena area.

I have ordered grills, fender badges, spoiler, and some interior parts from RW and have been very pleased with all of it!

I'm happy to hear they back their products, I'd be even happier if their stuff fit correctly the first time. Or the second time.

They don’t really back there stuff because I sent a diffuser back because it wouldn’t fit and they pretty much said all the diffusers were like that. What’s funny they stopped carrying that diffuser after a month of my claim. They took the diffuser ack but charged me a restocking fee.

I've seen their roof for the E90 M3, good thing I went with a slonik roof instead

It's a known issue for the multi-piece/Vorsteiner style diffusers. None of them fit perfect. But yes, that is why Matt decided to discontinue that item, as none of them were ever going to fit perfect. TBH, even authentic Vorsteiner carbon parts have fitment issues.

Actually this was an rkp rep. It was so bowed in the center you couldn't get both sides to lock in place.
