Is 2020 M4 Exhaust Valved?

Hi,

I'm trying to find the answer to this and no luck so far. When entering M2 which I have set to sports+ everything, an exhaust sound gets louder but since it's a 2020 model with the OPF installed I didn't think it was valved any more. I thought only the performance exhaust was valved.

It also doesn't sound like an increase in the noise pumped to the cabin because with windows open it's very noticable.

Can anyone clear this up for me please?

Thanks,

Yes its valved. Throw a mid-pipe on there and your valves opening will be much more noticeable.

Thanks,
With the windows down you'll hear the exhaust over the active sound. These cars are well insulated. With the windows up you won't hear much exhaust note even in sport plus, but you'll hear the active sound when flooring it. You can buy the bimmer link app and a veepeak BT adapter to open/close the valves in any mode and turn off ASD and Burbles on the fly to see if you like it.
I tried it out and decided I actually like the ASD and burbles better in the on mode.
