Dyno proof: Stock vs Modified M3 ZCP
I had the opportubity to compare my stock 2017 ZCP Manual to a modified 2018 ZCP DCT. The modifications include a set of downpipes and a JB4.
Seems like a base JB4 map doesn’t really make sense to void the warranty. It’s when you customize things that’s when things get interesting. I hope you enjoy this little video comparison. One of the things it proves is that BMW underrates the HP rating...but we all knew that |

Can you just post the results? Not trying to watch a video to find out.

Seems like zcp numbers are all over the place. Mine dynod 438whp stock with 1100 miles on it.
Still good numbers though. Side note that dyno looked sketchy at best....ooph |

Each dyno is different. Elevation, gas quality, temperature... even the tires and wheel size/weight and the age of the engine! So many factors for +/-10-20hp which just goes to show that dyno numbers can only really be reliably compared as a baseline for your own car on the same actual dyno. Even then there is a margin of error.
