Bm3
Hi all,
New user and technology noob here. Currently own a 2015 YMB M3 with full m performance kit and exhaust. Absolutely love the car, turns heads everywhere it goes (probably people thinking what the f**k is that it sounds like a tractor) . However I'm at the stage now where I've owned the car for a year and I'm wanting a little more from it. Been reading about the BM3, and was wondering if it's worth buying and as it's only a flash tune is it reliable? As I stated earlier I'm a technology noob and don't want to blow my engine up with the wrong click of my mouse |

BM3 Is by Far the Best Tune out there. There is always Risk when tuning so, If that really concerns you i would advise to remain stock. It's a Night and Day difference in power even with a stage 1 OTS Tune. i would highly recommend this Tuning software in comparison to others out there. My Boys with BM3 have been handing out THE SAUCE to other tunes out there in the streets. Hope this Helps

I'm planning to buy bm3 mod. Just got the wifi agent. Got the cbc installed. I don't want to blow up my engine with only a stage 1 . It does happen. Just plan ahead. They got insane crank hubs that's legit. Haha

Hi mate, If I'm honest I'm not too bothered about the risks of the map itself, the car is just out of warranty anyway. It's just that I'm unsure of how user friendly it is? Is it literally just plug and play? I had a DTUK box on my mk7 golf R a few years ago and the clutch slipped like mad although that was manual. Just if I'm honest never really known how flash tunes compare to a solid tune. |

If you buy the Wifi Agent you can literally connect your phone to the car via OBD. It's super easy and you can look on YouTube on how to use it. BM3 is very user friendly and you can customize a lot in your tune such as how long you want your burbles to go for or even how much boost by gear. do some research on YouTube and you will see what i am saying. We Tune our cars so they are faster and if you look at the records for our platform BM3 is certainly behind it all. |

I was on the fence for a while before I did the BM3 stage 1 91 octant tune 2 weeks ago. It was crazy easy and took only 15 minutes in my garage. The power difference is outstanding! Big wallop of torque about 3k rpm and just pulls really hard from there. Huge difference from stock noticeable right away. I only wish I did it sooner when the weather was warm. Since it’s cold out, my summer tires are really squirrelly. Well worth the money.

If you are buying it used you can also buy it separate from PTF direct for a $100 Keep in mind that bm3 license is only transferable once. When getting it used make sure you are not getting scammed. If the previous owner also got it used, the license is useless. Also thats something to keep in mind with new vs used. A new license might cost more now but you can sell it in the future and get some of your money back.
