Was testing out the tune late at night on a empty highway, was doing about 130 then I let off and started driving normal. About 5 miles later i got a drivetrain malfunction and went into limp mode.

An hour? That's not great.

Wonder if it was an Injector? Have 75k on mine.. needed to replace injector 5. Car wouldnt really run until I did. All kinds of codes.. limping..bad smell, etc.
Not sure... maybe. I miss it. Great car and probably a rare problem.

40000 miles...factory warranty expired last week and the gas door decides it's a great time to break. Cost: $650.

Other than that, no other issues.

Another time I heard the car going over 100+ mph n the crank hub slips. Maybe the screw bolts just gave out.

2015 M4. 81k miles. Just had 2 oil leaks fixed, valve cover and oil filter housing. Was pretty pricey at the dealer. Other than that no other issues. Hopefully good to go for a while as I plan to keep it for a long time.

2020 ZCP, 6mt, 12,491 miles. No problems. I was really worried from all the comments about squeaks and rattles. I have none, nota.
I haven't had a chance to track the car, that will come this summer when my time frees up. Road America, Brainerd, and Autobahn will be the first three.

56,700 miles. Bought it one year ago on 2/22/19. By the end of this month, I'll have put 20,000 on it with no issues.

I wish there were a corporate job out there that would give me a M4 to drive around I'm just an independent health insurance broker with clients spread out over a 200 miles radius in Northern CA.

60k miles. Recently developed a valve cover gasket leak. Dealer wants $3k to fix that. aux water pump also has low pressure which costs $1.5k at dealer. Ordered a valve cover gasket $25 to DIY it and pump costs $200 and will DIY that as well. Not hard stuff but dealer prices are crazy.
