I can only assume the EDC has been recalibrated based on the new suspension hardware, so it would be pointless to do that software change on a non CP car.
Wonder if dsc/diff recalibration might be retrofit-able. Unless it's a completely different part.

They couldn't possibly be considering that CCBs alone cost more than this entire package -- but it doesn't say CCB is required to order it either, which is smart because that likely would have drastically reduced the take rate on this option.

Downpipe, tune, new m performance wheel, new m performance Coilovers, and you got yourself a better looking and more potent competition package for less money, most likely.

Just my 2 cents

I think those 666 wheels are gorgeous, only wish they were 19".

In reality ( Minus $2200( Rims/Adaptive)) its only a $3300 package .. It would be safe to say the enhancements are well within $3,300 USD and it has value. ( Never mind if you can EU invoice it)
Its unlikely the aftermarket options will be competitive with this, from the standpoint of warranty/ totally of the cohesiveness of the parts.

We just need to get it on the dyno and see if there is a 25hp increase over the known dyno status. According to Dinan the car makes 484Hp/446ft-lbs and the their Diantronics Kit ($2,500 w 3yr Warranty)only adds 42HP to that (total of 516). However according to Car & Driver the power enhancements where nill. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ed-test-review

Biggest issues are the ability to put down, appear to have been address.

Hopefully Chris Harris gets ones fast for review.

I got 17 more months left on my current F80... Comp Pack here I come.. I was researching winter tires for the 19/20s stock rims.. looks like we will have options...wait those are different sizes??? 20s all around?

http://www.dinancars.com/product/d44...ries&mid=1178/
It's 19hp, not 25.

But who's counting .

If you subtract the cost of adaptive suspension and a wheel upgrade from this package, it comes down to ~$3300 (depending on what you assume the wheels would cost as a standalone option). A good set of coilovers alone can cost that, and that's before springs, dampers, roll bars, installation of everything, and the potentially enormous amount of time and money spent going through trial and error to adjust all of that to work harmoniously. And even at the end of that you still don't have an active suspension, which is a wonderful thing for both performance and comfort separately but particularly in how well it can serve double duty. And that assumes you don't care about anything else in this package, like the different diff and DSC software, seats, etc.

confession: I love the seatbelts... of everything on the package the thing I'm most jealous I don't have is those seatbelts.

... and I think the wheels look better on the coupe than they do on the sedan. Don't love them, don't hate them, still creeped out that they are style "666" and full of pentagrams.

The seatbelts I'm sure will be able to be ordered as parts at some point and shouldn't be too difficult or expensive to retrofit.

Could be the result of the GTS Aero or "German conservative"

I'm pretty sure I'll tick the ZCP box if I get another M3. I like everything about it except that it's adaptive suspension but I can live with that.

I believe only the e46 ZCP had a unique color option with Interlagos Blue.

Did they announce the ability to replace 666 wheels for the 437s? And can you put sakhir orange leather+ alcantara on those seats?

Yeah, on the E9x, ZCP was announced at the same time as the availability of Mineral White Metallic and 2-tone leather interiors, but neither of those were exclusive to ZCP cars, and I don't think the M5/6 got a new color at all with their 7MK launch.
