Various pics over the last year. Tanzanite blue is really a chameleon, going from almost black on cloudy days to a bright royal blue under fluorescent lights.

Do you have more picture of the black Apex on your car and specs? Thanks

Also, couldn’t agree more. Changes all the time in different light.

It gets a purple hue in certain lighting conditions too. It's the darkest blue I've ever really seen on a car and I love it. There's a blue presence even on the days where it seems black and it's amazing. Here's mine in the sun:

Also, what spoiler is that? Looks perfect.

2016 M3  [0.00]
About a month ago I brought home a new (to me) 2016 F80 in Tanzanite. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a couple other M3s in different colors before driving out of state and taking a gamble to buy this one. I can't believe how much I love the color and really glad I went through the effort to get it. It's been cloudy a lot recently, but the sun came out today and I decided to do a quick wash for the first time and take some pics. Can't wait to start adding some personal mods over time

Ventured out with the new winter shoes in today's Denver snowstorm. The car did well except on uphill icy areas from a stop. I'm going to put about 200-250lbs of the sand tubes in the trunk and bought some AutoSocks as well after today just in case.

The wheels are 20x9 Aodhan LS007 Matte Black with some Continental WinterContact TS830 265/30R20 Tires all around/square set up.

What's up fellow Colorado Tanzanite friend? It took some work, a big chunk of it being me making it a total of 5 feet out of my garage before getting stuck at 10 am and then digging myself out, but I was finally able to get out and about tonight. Almost 14 inches of snow is a bit much for the car to handle... I also have some auto socks but there's no realistic way for me to get them on. I'm going to replace the PA4's on the rear with Hakka R3's at some point. Won't help on days like this though.

This colour reminds me a lot of my E92 Jerez Black but in reverse.
That looked black in the sun but a dark blue at night and on cold grey days!

Very interesting colour.
