You don't have US/CAN market breakdown available on individuals by any chance do you?
I do, but I didn't split it since it would take too much time and there would be too much empty space.

Neat.

Every model has a type code.

F80 LCI
8M91: Europe left-hand drive
8M92: Europe right-hand drive
8M93: USA/Canada

F80 Pre-LCI
3C91: Europe left-hand drive
3C92: Europe right-hand drive
3C93: USA/Canada

It's called a type code and it is in your VIN (4th to 7th character). Since 2010 model year, US/Canadian cars started replacing 7th character with a letter so model year code can be properly decoded. So the last digit 3 is replaced with the 3rd letter of the alphabet.

For anyone that was considering the Future Classic decal from IND we can now confidently put the "1 of xxx" number on the sticker!

OP, thank you very much for this valuable nugget of info! Most appreciated!
Is it possible to ask for a further drill down on the Comp Pack F80LCI - how many of those are DCT and manual? I don't know if the source of data enables this kind-of data intersection?

As an owner of a European, LHD, manual comp-F80 I am most curious, it seems that my car is rarer than a CS even

Not that I think this will help residuals, but perhaps make me smile an iota broader every time I see my car

I guess that explains why my wife's '18 M3 ZCP (F80 LCI) is 8M9C and not 8M93.

Probably the last time as well.
This reinforces my decision - mine is a keeper!

I had a good friend ride with me this summer down to the 'Ring, he has a 911R (in his stable of 8 porsches) which he admires a lot - he got to drive my car extensively and he was seriously impressed - the M3 was "magical" in his words
