Had this carbon fiber key fob case sent to me via @carbonfiberkey on Instagram and thought I'd share a pic of it

Fits like a glove and matches the interior

Saw those on IG, was wondering what the consensus would be. Looks good!

Only drawback is removal of the key for valeting, etc.

You can solve that with a detachable key-ring no?

I like this better than the M Performance key cover I have now which makes the key really "FAT" like "is that a key in your pocket or are you just happy to see me" type fat.

Seems to keep the overall size of the key closer to original size.

That doesn't solve the fact that if you have the fob cover you can't press the button to remove the physical key to lock the glove box and then just give them the fob (unless I'm totally cluless - which is extremely possible

)

Quick Question, off topic - does the M Performance Shift knob illuminate like the stock shifter?

It does not light up but it feels just right and compliments the e-brake and trim

True, the key is not going to be able to be removed unless you take the cover off

ive owned the car for a year and never felt the need to de-attatch the key from the fob so thats a non-issue for me personally
