The nut that comes with the GC plates is unique to the GC plates, which is a 22mm specialty nut. Below is a pic of mine right after my DIY install. The OEM nut is an 18mm nut.

Don’t mean to hijack thread just a quick question.

Does the GC chamber plates raise up the car with springs not coilovers.. they are thicker so, it’s my natural assumption That it could raise the car 1/2 inch? Or more?

@CanAutM3 any updates?

I have the MP HAS and Millway camber plates and on the right side I can hear exactly the same clunking as you described. On the left side it's OK.

Up to now I thought this would be normal behaviour, but after reading some comments I am not sure anymore.

Having the same clunking issue. GC camber plates with swift R springs
However, clunking occurs on the driver's side only, passenger side has been OEM quiet since day 1.

Changed out the spherical bearing recently which eliminated all clunking for about 2 months. Driver's side clunking has since returned to the same levels. Passenger side still quiet and on original bearings.

Would a worn thrust bearing cause premature failure of the spherical bearing?
