I loved the Kenu Airframe in my E92, but decided to go with magnets this time around as I didn't want to have to fiddle with the clamps when removing or placing it on. Small convenience but I appreciate it

I had a Scosche Magic Mount already fitted and didn't feel like removing it as it's small, unobtrusive and convenient for popping the phone securely onto.

The magic mount doesn't work with the ring of magnets in the iPhone 12 / 12 Pro MagSafe arrangement so I looked for an "adaptor plate" something that would securely attach to the magic mount and provide a perfect attachment to my new iPhone.

I found this: Quarble Magnetic Adapter Compatible with MagSafe Case and iPhone 12 Pro Max Mini, Attached to Old Magnetic Car Phone Mount Holder No Metal Plate Needed https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08SR16...UTF8&psc=1

This arrangement doesn't charge the phone wirelessly but to do that I'd also need an Apple MagSafe charger, USB-C 12V socket that can do 20W and more cables...I'm happy charging via my existing lightening USB cable as it also does lossless audio for Spotify and syncs BMW Connect.

I just frankenstein this mount today and turned out great. The location of the mount is prime so I wanted to capitalize on that so my head & eyes aren't wondering down & away from the road.

The wireless charging cradle I already previously owned and mounts by a 17mm ball, Yuechi BMW FXX Body Aluminum Phone Mount Trim as a base, robbed the 17mm ball mount arm from a Tackform Car Phone Holder Magnetic Mount. All of which were purchased through Amazon.

ProClip M3/M4 Mount

I use the base mount of the ProClip M4 mount. It's basically a flat surface mount that clips or latches onto already existing seams in the dash. I chose this mount for its easy installation, minimalistic design, and placement inside the car.

I paired this mount with an Ohsnap metal mount but since this is just a flat surface, I'm sure it can be paired with other things like magnets, pop sockets, phone cradles, etc.

I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the hold is solid with no rattling or shaking. The iPhone X case pictured is just for reference.

*Helpful Tip*
I had trouble purchasing the M3 version of the mount from the ProClip website but since the M3 and M4 are basically identical, I found the workaround of purchasing the M4 version.

I got inspiration from Tommy for this. Cheap Amazon ball mount that holds MagSafe attached to Rennline. I didn't like how much the usb plug stuck out towards the cup holder. If you pop that center trim piece off you can see the backside of the female USB. I pulled it off and tucked all of the cables behind the trim

Rennline ball mount with a cheap wireless charger from Aliexpress. Paired with a 6 inch USB to USB C cable on Amazon. Works perfectly with an iPhone 12 Pro.

Here's a link to the wireless charger: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...14744c4dVkyF09

Anybody mounted a leather case? Bullstrap MagSafe cases specifically? Trying to mount a 13 Pro Max, which is pretty big and heavy.

Used Pitaka Cases and mounts before but their mounts just looks way too bulky.

Does anyone have tips on how to route a USB cable through the dash and out into the passenger footwell to plug into the 12v charger port down there? Have an Apple MagSafe charger mounted on a Rennline mount and want to clean up my cables a bit but not quite sure the best way to do it.

The footwell 12V is pretty much out of sight so what I did was route it straight down and tucked it under the plastic trim under the glovebox. Then tuck it all in feeding it to the center console. There is a little crevice between the center console trim and the lower dash trim that you can squeeze the cable between. It's pretty invisible at that point.

Can you post a pic of your setup or a link to the Rennline mount?

Here is a link to the Rennline mount. https://www.rennline.com/BMW-ExactFi...RoCygsQAvD_BwE
I'd be interested to see what people have done to get an Apple Magsafe cable or Quadlock Wireless charger hooked up. Currently have the Quadlock wireless charger attached to my windshield in a different vehicle. Trying to find one system for both cars.
