BavSound Ordered - Now I wait patiently

Just pre-ordered as well. I also don't even have the stage 1 system yet. I refused to get it unless the subs also came out. I ordered now because the discount is too good. I'll worry about the speaker kit closer to the sub release date.

Only thing I don't like is it will be cold when I try and do the install. Plastics hate the cold. I just hope I don't wreck a bunch of trim pieces or panel pins.

Don't install if the ambient temp is under 50. Plastic cracks much easier when cold. If I were you, I'd install the BavSound S1 now. The subs install under the seats doesn't require bending any plastic parts, so you can do that in the cold.

You are probably right. Now that they are officially starting production and pre-orders, it's safe to get the speakers.

I preordered the sub as well. For some reason the free toolkit code isn't working. I also emailed them and they said it code isn't available with the sub preorder. Anyone get the discount to work? Thanks.

anyone having any problems with their install? i've started to get what sounds like static on some of the speakers its a pain trying to pinpoint it.

I had some static on one speaker after I installed my Stage 1 - most noticeable when I was playing audio in a certain range (my audiobooks, of all things). When I pulled the door panel off, I discovered I had not pushed the plug from the speaker far enough into the door wire harness. I had to really push it until it "clicked" in. After that, no static.

Did you use the preorder code? When I did my order it would only accept 1 code not both. I ended up placing it with teh PO code figuring I couldn't have my cake and eat it too. The next day I got an email asking about it (I guess they can see what you tried to do during the process) and I explained it. I was told they would add it manually and I got a shipping update within a day or 2.

They haven't shipped yet... maybe this week.

We've installed a couple of systems, the components are very good quality and sounds great. it's convinced me to get a set for our shop M4.

Our BavSound System just came in yesterday, installing in the next few days. Anyone in the Orange County area is more than welcome to drop by for a listen.

They are all supposed to ship within the next week,

Once the turbos are done on our car and some other work we will have them in the M4 if anyone wants to come by in LA

we also have a set installed in our x5 and e90 shop car!
