Here is my AA mid pipe and stock ZCP exhaust being started for the first time. Valves open at 20 seconds. Don't have a burbling and acceleration video yet. Love it though.

Will you still get the burbles if you pair either a Remus or a AA midpipe to a non ZCP exhaust? Or will that not happen? Thx

You'll still keep the burbles that happen during deceleration from high rams in 2nd and 1st gear, however for the more aggressive burbles you will need zcp or an ecu flash.

Thanks - which one of the two gives more burbles without the ZCP or a flash tune

The burbles are very minor, but the Remus Non-Resonated will.

Here's a video:

lewz4 can probably give you a better response. It's his car. I've ridden in it a few times. The burbles are very slight in 1st and 2nd gear.

Emission reason... EPA was getting very strict on aftermarket parts

This is the most comprehensive AA mid pipe on ZCP exhaust that I know of.... Light revs, valves open/closed, medium pull, down shifts, casual driving, hard pull and launch control. External mic used for the most accurate sound as possible. Has some pretty legit burbles

No downpipes and it burbles like crazy. Pretty damn loud in person. IMO - AA is the way to go.

I bought mine on Tuesday and will have a vid up with down pipes and stock non-ZCP exhaust soon. I'll try and get one before getting BM3

Sounds really good, besides the burbles which I don't really care for, how does a full AA exhaust (with Downpipes or even without) sound compared to AA mid pipe and stock ZCP axle back?

Andrew@ActiveAutowerke has a clip of the full system. I believe they designed the full system with down pipes in mind. I like it. It has a clean sound

Its a completely different sound to be honest. The full system is going to be very smooth through the rpm while the mid pipe and zcp exhaust is more on the rowdy aggressive side similar to stock with less rasp and louder.

I just recently did a Zcp with full exhaust and downpipe this setup is by far my favorite and im sure those of you with ecu flashes and burble tunes can replicate it.

I bought lewz4 Remus midpipes only, will be installing on a NON-ZCP F80 with stock muffler and DPs. I'll try to get some videos up and post back. It will be at least a week.
