Sorry but you need to go buy petrol with your money. I admit expanding this huge business would be more time wasted but as of now that I finished the two remaining warmers, I am resigning from the industry after testing the dct version on a dct before sending it. The feedback gotten from the unnamed customer was too harsh and my fragile ego is in bits.

That man has no idea how deeply his extremely vicious feedback harmed my gentle soul. Calling me a vindictive and mean when everyone knows I'm extremely kind and nice crushed me and I must leave this production.

It will take therapy and milk.

Yeah, I admit it, laymen offering engineering advice does me.

I wish I was cold-hearted enough to laugh when one of these morons realizes there is such a thing as a professional.

More broadly, it's pretty scary these days with science/engineering, and people not understanding what it is, and thinking they can just make up their own reality ... it's almost comical that those same people use the results of science (computers, the internet, etc) to question it.

And then I read this thread and realize ... there's hope!

I was actually prompted by some of your posts on the other thread to go back and read some pinto related stuff (including, most interestingly to me, a lengthy law review article that indicated that much of the 'myth' of its poor design, etc, really was myth and had a weak factual foundation). But it is remarkable how many people believe in their own expertise because, well, google/Wikipedia, right? ...which, as you note, leads to 'I experienced a problem therefore 'design flaw''
