Yeah, I was designing a house on the road in my head. You're right as always Sol. And the mods would go with him since I couldn't strip him. It would feel wrong.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I do "see better and farther away" with Xenon headlamps over LED. From personal experience (may not be correct) LED's are brighter and draw more attention (hence used for tail lights, warning/safety lights and the like) but do not emit/project light output as far a xenon or projector light. As some have stated, the technology concept its great, they do look cool, but I don't think it's quite ready yet.

Yes, the leds look great and are good for city runs but on the highway they make darkness more deadly. I'm truly not trying to be a hater just because I can be, but maybe there will be an other driver with my tendency for fast road trips who is speculating with what to go with and after what I've seen, I thought this should be reported.

The blinding thing stopped with the coding, and of that I'm extremely happy about. The adaptive features just are all around bad in the back roads. I truly wish I am the only one who will have a problem with the lights. Stay happy with yours because when I started to pay attention to these, that has been all I see. For fucks sake, they are headlights, how insane can they drive a person...

You weirdo groupie guys are very much blinded by this 'Lups'. Acting all friendly, silly, and flirtatious.
I have been tracking her posts and see through her 'issues'. The truth is she is selling the car to get rid of the evidence. Yes Lups I know the heat is getting to you. But parting with your car is not going to help. Nice try.

Ha. I win. Meh, I don't even notice some features like mirrors in the sun shades, but those headlights got me boiling over so damn many times I have endured a laughing spouse all day because I showed him what pics I took last night for this thread. He has spent the day sending them to our relatives as a proof I've finally gone completely mental because I use our kids toys to show off head lights. Oh, and he keeps bringing me new toys like cop cars/ Lego police men I could use next.

Good luck with that one, I still want that even if I know my life needs cloth.

If you really are selling I wish you good luck! I still have a month or so until I get my rocket ship.

It'll be next summer when I get rid of him. I won't have the time to go nuts before that, and for city use the lights are good.

I did bring up the topic of cars last night at home. Hubby stopped laughing around 2 am after I had listed the options he can choose from if Audi would go instead of Peter.

I guess I'm too old and sober to "get" this post. You don't like your LEDs and this is the way you express it? You think this is cute & clever? Now I need a drink, and I'm still ordering the LEDs on my M3. |

Actually, that is completely incorrect.
Bluex mentioned in post #22 that he complained earlier on and he has several posts in this forum to back up that claim. There are several additional people who complained months ago in this thread: Adaptive LED lighting turned on-wow. In all cases, the issue turned out to be incorrect recoding of the no-dazzle feature. The correct statement is that nobody who has either left the LEDs alone as delivered or recoded them correctly complains.
