Excellent info, thanks CanAutM3 ... I did read that they take care of software campaigns at the VDC (port) but that's well outside the scope of VO/FA coding.

What in the world is that second rheostat/pot for... front fog light brightness? rear?

...I wonder how that'd interact with the coding (if at all) for the emulated fog lights...

I dunno what it will do bc I'm going to pop out the two buttons and toss the rest of the switch into the trash hahah. Or maybe I'll rsell it on eBay asa special F80 light switch with invisible fog light buttons lol

Try using F30 Headlight switch in the search field. Might get more results.

So the other pot is a leveling knob, apparently inactive on US variants, but I wonder if it can be enabled via coding...

@MFNATIK you should ship me your switch housing for experimentation... :-D

Question to make sure I understand - if I code the settings from post #5 in this thread, the fog lights only activate if I push the button above the rear foglight switch? Does turning them on disable NGHB/anti-dazzle? Or can we have everything going at once?

So I've ordered a switch with the headlamp level selector (which is a switch it seems, not a pot); MFNATIK there will be no need to send me your housing. :-)

Since (a) the servos for the LED array are indeed in the TMS modules, and (b) I distinctly recall seeing at least the ability to code "high" or "low" values for aiming, I'm hopeful that I might be able to figure out how to get that switch working for headlamp aim level selection... not that I plan on towing anything anytime soon, but I might load the trunk up with some big iron every now and again.

I won't have my car back from Dinan until next week sometime so I'll have one more fun thing to poke at (aside from the pile of parts awaiting its return)...

Bro. You GOTTa get those to work.....now I'm excited for my switch to arrive. It technically will take 2 weeks to ship from GB - Dooooo IT!!
